Services for Raymond Gorrell, 65, of Renwick, who died early Monday morning, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the United Methodist Church, Renwick, with burial in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Surviving are the widow; a son, Jerry, LeMars; four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Henry Groh, Livermore.

Mr. Gorrell was born in Casper, Ill., and came to the Renwick area as a young man. He married Charlotte Clowes in 1933 at Renwick. Mr. Gorrell drove a truck for National Byproducts of Belmond for 36 years, retiring in January, 1969. He was a member of the Renwick Masonic Lodge and the Modern Woodmen of America.

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Feller of Cedar Rapids, Miss Donell Clowes of Waverly and Mr. and Mrs. Loren Adam of Gowrie came to the parental Donald Clowes home Wednesday morning and in the afternoon attended the funeral of Mr. Raymond Gorrell which was held at the United Methodist Church in Renwick at 2 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Clowes of Hardy also attended the services, Mrs. Raymond Gorrell is a sister of Donald Clowes. Mr. Gorrell had been in failing health for some time and died in his sleep the morning of Oct. 12

Lynn Darland of San Diego, Calif., came Tuesday to attend funeral services for his uncle, Raymond Gorrell and visit his mother, Mrs. Jeanette Darland.

Mrs. Ivan Fredriksen of Livermore and Mrs. Cledis Anderson attended funeral services for Raymond Gorrell on Wednesday afternoon.
