December 25, 1899 --- December 8, 1946

Ray Shillington, 47, died Sunday morning at the home of his mother, Mrs. James Shillington, on South Park Ave.

Mr. Shillington had been in failing health for two years, and two weeks ago came to his mother's home for care. With his brother, Clark Shillington, he farmed east of Eagle Grove.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Congregational church In Clarion. Burial was in the Clarion cemetery.

Mr. Shillington is survived by his mother, six brothers and three sisters: Harry of Chicago, Ernest of Bancroft, Harvey of Iowa Falls, Earl of Latimer, Ted and Clark of Clarion, also Mrs. Joe Bauman and Mrs. Raymond Caquelin of Eagle Grove and Mrs. John Seymour of Adel. All were present for the services.
