Services for Harvey E. Rogers, 58, Tipton, formerly of Davenport, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Halligan-McCabe Chapel. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Rogers was found dead in his car Tuesday at Wisconsin Avenue and Locust Street, Davenport. Dr. R. M. Perkins, Scott County medical examiner, said death was due to an apparent heart attack. Perkins said he pulled his car over to the side of the road before suffering the attack. Mr. Rogers was a painter at the Clifford Smith Expert Painting Co., Davenport. He was born in Clarion, Iowa. He married Bernice Petersen in Fort Dodge, Iowa, July 23, 1935. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. (Deanna) Frantz, Davenport; sons, Howard K., Phoenix, Ariz ; Harry E., Joliet, Ill.; Roy K., Davenport, and Richard E., at home; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. June Jorgensen, Harlan, Iowa; brothers, Robert, Hampton, Iowa, and James, Clarion, and his mother, Mrs. Coral Taylor, Clarion.
