Floyd Sumner Bell, 87, of Salem, died Monday. He was born in Clarion, Iowa, and was a truck driver for a meat packing company. He retired in 1962. He moved to Seal Beach, Calif., and later to Texas before moving to Salem in 1981. Survivors include his wife, Mildred; daughter, Margaret Wise, Fullerton, Calif.; son, Anson Bell, Salem; sisters June Allen, Falls Church, Va., and Jean Gardner, Clarion; brother, Sam Bell, Barnes City, Iowa. No services are planned. Arrangements are by Barrick mortuary, Salem.
