SILVERTON, Oregon -- Louise O. Carstens, 84, 122 Cowing St., died Tuesday in a Silverton nursing home. She was born in Clarion, Iowa, and lived in Silverton since 1949. Her husband, Harry E., died in 1968. Survivors include son Marion A., Silverton; brother Alvin Eidie, [Alvin Fatland Eide] Cut Bank, Mont.; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Unger mortuary. Pastor M. J. Cooper officiating. Interment will be at Miller Cemetery.
