Amanda Jo Lalor was born on June 25, 1994, the daughter of Donavon Lalor and Jessica Willard at Community Memorial Hospital in Clarion, Iowa. She was diagnosed with Leukemia following her birth. She entered Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines on March 19, 1995.

Amanda Jo Lalor died at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on November 17, 1995. She had attained the age of 16 months and 22 days.

Survivors include her parents, Donavon Lalor of Eagle Grove and Jessica Willard of Goldfield; half-sister, Kayla DeeAnn Lalor of Des Moines; grandparents, Gary and Janice Lalor, Brady Willard and wife Kathy, and Barb Willard, all of Eagle Grove; great-grandparents, Dorothy Lalor, Joe and Myrt Thielen, Lorraine Hanus, and Jean Willard, all of Eagle Grove, and Laura Sporra of Clarion.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 21, 1995, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove. The Father Wayne Droessler officiated the 10 a.m. Mass of Resurrection and burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove, Iowa.

Willim Funeral Home, Ltd. of Eagle Grove was in charge of the arrangements.
