Mrs. George Cline, 87, died Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Home in Estherville where she had been a patient for six years. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove. The Rev. Howard Church officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Cline was born Sept. 6, 1877, at Fernald where she was married in April, 1897. She and her husband farmed in Palo Alto County before moving to Eagle Grove in 1910. Mr. Cline died in 1934.

Surviving Mrs. Cline are a son, Ralph Leon Cline, Burlington, NC, a daughter, Mrs. L. N. Ransford, Spirit Lake; three grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A brother, Jess Kuhn, Mission, Texas and two sisters, Mrs. Alvira Apple, Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Ina Picht, Nevada, also survive. Mrs. Cline was a member of the Baptist church.
