Clara A. Mentzer, 95, of Ames died of a stroke Thursday at the Madrid Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. Mrs. Mentzer was born in Thor and had lived in Ames since 1960. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church. She is survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
