James Richard Peterson, 58, of Prescott, a sales manager for World Books Encyclopedia, died Dec. 2, 1989. He was born in Holmes, Iowa. Survivors include two sons, Mark and Shawn; three daughters, Mickey Cooper, Terry Meyer and Anne Thatcher; father; three brothers; one sister; and four grandchildren. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Dec. 16, United Methodist Church, 505 W. Gurley, Prescott. Family Burial & Cremation Center.
