Services for Anna J. Knipp, 96, of Carlisle, Iowa who died Sunday of a stroke at the Carlisle Care Center here, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Southtown Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Born in Woolstock, Mrs. Knipp lived for 75 years in Des Moines. She is survived by three daughters, Bette Higens of Carlisle, Ethel Hoffa of San Leandro, Calif., and Shirley Andrew of Chariton; a son, Robert of Downey, Calif.; a sister, Edith Nystrom of Jewell; a brother, Dewey Dakins of Story City, seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
