Gerald L. "Jerry" Rowland, 71, former general manager of Roadrunner Truck Stop, died Aug. 10, 1985, at Village Green Nursing Home. Mr. Roseland, of Phoenix, was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and moved to Arizona 36 years ago from San Bernardino, Calif. He was a World War II veteran. Survivors include his wife, Shirley, daughters, Kim Kinney and Celia; sons, Kevin and Nelson E.; a sister; and two grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Memory Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave. Private graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Memory Lawn Memorial Park, 719 N. 27th Ave.
