George Packman Dies
Services Wednesday
George J. Packman, 57, died in a local hospital Sunday morning after a short illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Methodist Church in Kennebec with burial there under the direction of the Campbell Funeral Home. Packman was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, Feb. 2, 1909, and came to Rapid City in 1938 from Kennebec. He was employed by a taxi company for many years. Survivors include one son, Charles R. Packman of Sioux Falls; his mother, Mrs. Grace Packman of Kennebec, and two sisters, Mrs. Art Gilman and Mrs. Dallas Gifford, both of Kennebec.
