GATES, OREGON --- James Richard Donnegan, 76, died Tuesday at his home on Maple Street. He was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and was a postal employee in Des Moines, Iowa, before his retirement in 1957. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He had lived here for 18 years and was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Mill City. Survivors include sister, Marie Hayes, Tucson, Ariz. Mass will be 11 a.m. today at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Sublimity. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Weddle mortuary.
