November 14, 1892 --- February 28, 1957

Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar Nelson, 64, were held Saturday at the Kastler Funeral home in charge of Rev. Roy Cox.

Mrs. Nelson died unexpectedly, following a stroke at her home Thursday morning, Feb. 28th.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Carroll L. Warner of Spencer, Mrs. Raymond Sheets of Goldfield, and Mrs. Harry Askvig of Eagle Grove and one son, Morse Nelson of Clinton. Other survivors are eight grandchildren, four sisters and four brothers, Mrs. L. D. Beecher and Mrs. Allen Irwin of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Harry Allred of California, Mrs. Mable Gray of Cheyenne. Wyo., Fred Younglove of Huron S. D., George and Chris Younglove of Cody, Wyo., and Beebe Younglove of Mitchell, Neb.

Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery and casket bearers were R. R. Brow. Francis Hossman, George Vilmain, Henry Schroeder. William Oldson and John Dinnie.

Mrs. Grace Olive Nelson was born November 14, 1892 in Custer county, Nebraska, the daughter of George and Mary Younglove. She passed away suddenly, of a stroke, at her home on February 28, 1857 at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 14 days.

On January 12, 1916 she was united in marriage to Oscar Nelson at Eagle Grove, Iowa, where they have since made their home. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, three daughters, one son, and eight grandchildren. The daughters are Maxine, Mrs. Carroll L. Warner of Spencer, Iowa, Marjorie, Mrs. Raymond Sheets of Goldfield; Elinor, Mrs. Harry Askvig of Eagle Grove; and the son is Morse Nelson of Clinton. She also is survived by four sisters and four brothers, Mrs. L. D. Beecher and Mrs. Allen Irwin of Eagle Grove; Mrs. Harry Allred of California, Mrs. Mabel Gray of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Fred Younglove of Huron, S. D.; George and Chris Younglove of Cody, Wyo. and Beebe Younglove of Mitchell, Neb.

Mrs. Nelson was a member of the Methodist church of Eagle Grove and she was a faithful kind and loving wife and mother.

Funeral services were held March 2nd at the Kastler Funeral Home. Rev. Roy Cox had charge and interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
