Funeral services for Harry L. Hill, 71, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in charge of the pastor, Rev. H. W. Schiller, Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Hill died unexpectedly at his home Friday evening of natural causes.

Surviving are sons, Harlan, Fort Dodge; Harvey, Wood River, Ill.; Donald, Marshall, Ill.; Harold Middleton, Eagle Grove; John Elwood, Mount Vernon, Wash.; daughters, Mrs. Charles Bertran, Webster City; Mrs. Cleo Landis, Ely; Mrs. James Hansen, Waverly; Mrs. Ahron Brandt, Lenexa, Kans.; and Mrs. Pat Allen, North Kansas City, Mo. He is also survived by six sisters, Mrs. Lottie Williams, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Walter Thorn, Eagle Grove; Mrs. Fred Sadler. Council Bluffs: Mrs. Emma Johnson, Mrs. Edith Cox and Mrs. Ethel Johnson, all of Eagle Grove; 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hill was born in Wright County and attended Eagle Grove schools. He married Bertha Thompson in 1925. She preceded him in death. He married Susan Capsel in 1953, and she died in 1963. He was a metal salvage dealer in Eagle Grove and was still active at the time of his death.

Harry Leonard Hill was born March 13, 1902 at Eagle Grove to Holgar and Lena Bertina Tutland Hill. He was baptized into the triune faith as an infant at the Holmes Lutheran Church. He died on Nov. 9 at Eagle Grove after reaching the age of 71 years, 7 months, and 27 days.

Mr. Hill attended school in Eagle Grove. He married Bertha Thompson in 1925 and in 1959 he was united in marriage to Susan Capsel. Mr. Hill was a metal salvage dealer in Eagle Grove and was still active at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Bertha Hill; Susan Hill; two brothers, Elmer and one that died in infancy and two grandchildren.

Those who mourn his departure are, five sons, Harlan, Fort Dodge; Harvey, Wood River, Ill.; Donald, Marshall, Ill.; Harold Middleton, Eagle Grove; John Elwood, Mt. Vernon, Wash.; five daughters, Mrs. Charles Bertran, Webster City; Mrs. Cleo Landis, Ely; Mrs. James Hanson, Waverly, Mrs. Sharon Brandt, Lenexa, Kans.; Mrs. Pat Allen, North Kansas City, Mo.; six sisters, Mrs. Lottie, Williams, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Walter Thorn, Eagle Grove; Mrs. Fred Sadler, Council Bluffs; Emma Johnson, Eagle Grove; Edith Cox, Eagle Grove; Ethel Johnson, Eagle Grove; 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev. H. W. Schiller. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
