June 27, 1895 --- February 3, 1983

CORVALLIS - Jack W. Alton, 87, of 513 N.W. 10th St., died Thursday. Born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, he came to Corvallis in 1945. He was a custodian for Ringo-Walton from 1959 to 1979 when he retired because of ill health. He was a member of Masons, Al Kader Temple and Corvallis Elks. He is survived by his wife Fae. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in McHenry mortuary. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions to the Benton Hospice Service or Shriners Hospital which may be sent to the mortuary, 206 N.W. 5th St., Corvallis.
