ALBANY, OR -- Bruce Hunter, 83, of 605 S. Burkhart St., was found dead Thursday in his car at his residence. He was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and came to Oregon in 1910 and moved to Albany in 1920. For many years he was a compositor at the Albany Democrat Herald and for some years owned and operated Hunter Printing in Albany. He was a member of International Typographical Union. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; sons, Robert, Albany, and Wallace, Salem; daughter, Mrs. Clinton Stenberg, Corvallis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Willamette Memorial Park under the direction of Fisher mortuary.
