January 14, 1905 --- October 10, 1983

Mildred Middleton, 78, a longtime resident of the city, was found dead yesterday at her rural home north of Webster City on the White Fox road.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Foster Funeral home, with the Rev. Edward Philgreen officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill cemetery at Eagle Grove. The casket will remain closed at the funeral home.

Mildred K. Klein, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Klein, was born Jan. 14,1905 at Eagle Grove and was reared and educated there.

She was united in marriage Sept. 16,1926 to Lyle L. Middleton, and the couple made their home in Eagle Grove, moving to Webster City in 1929.

She was preceded in death by her husband, June 1, 1971, but she continued to reside in Webster City.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. James (Norma) Fraser of Fort Dodge; and a brother-in-law, Lee Middleton of Webster City.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Mildred Middleton, 78, were held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Edward Philgreen officiating and with burial in the Rose Hill cemetery at Eagle Grove.

Mrs. W. H. Steinbruch was organist for the service.

Pallbearers were Duane Burtnett, Art Kelting, Dwight, Elwood, Greg and Jack Middleton.

Mrs. Middleton was found dead Monday at her home.
