25 December 1873 ---- 15 July 1954

William Clifford Reddick was born to William and Matilda Reddick on December 25, 1873 at Streator, Ill. He crossed the threshold from this life on Thursday morning at 9:15, July 15, 1954 at the Good Samaritan Home of Mason City, Iowa where he had resided during the last year of his life. He had thus attained the age of eighty and one half years.

He was united in marriage to Ida Mae Clark of Chicago, Illinois at Streator, Ill. on the day of February 28, 1906. Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Reddick, one died in infancy.

They located on a farm near Vincent, Iowa in 1917. Mr. Reddick retired from farming in 1945 and he with his wife resided with their daughter, Mrs. J. R. Keith of Garner until after Mrs. Reddick's death which occurred on November 19, 1950.

During his life time he was active in civic work and served as a school director for a number of years. He also served as president of the school district when he resided on a farm near Vincent. He was an active member of the United Presbyterian church at Garner at the time of his death.

Of Mr. Reddick's immediate family four children survive: Mary, Mrs. J. R. Keith of Garner; Gertrude, Mrs. A. D. Corsair of Duncombe; Clark Reddick of Fort Dodge; and James S. Reddick of Des Moines. Seven grandchildren, Robert Young and Robert Keith of Garner; Mary Jean Corsair and Danny Corsair of Duncombe; Sherry Lynn Reddick, Bonnie Jean Reddick and James Howard Reddick of Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Reddick had four sisters and one brother. Those living are: Mrs. Wm. Ralston of Gary, Indiana; Mrs. Charles Gurney of Streator, Ill., and James Reddick of Eagle Grove. Mrs. L. E. Corle, formerly of Panoma, California and Mrs. Margaret Baker formerly of Michigan City, Indiana, have preceded their brother in death. Also he leaves a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 10, 1954 at the Wilson Funeral Chapel of Eagle Grove, with Rev. J. Dallas Gibson of the United Presbyterian church of Garner, Iowa officiating. Interment was held on the family plot in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, Iowa.
