HURON, S.D. -- Bruce Douglas Urquhart, 92, former Waddell and Reed representative, died Friday, Oct. 27, 1995, at Huron Regional Medical Center. Mr. Urquhart was born April 13, 1903, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. He married Pearl Bennett on Oct. 7, 1927, in Waterloo, Iowa. They made their home in Huron, where he worked for First National Bank and the Farmers and Merchants Bank. He was a partner at D. Urquhart and Sons, and remained there until the business was sold in 1969. He was a representative for Waddell and Reed Incorporated. His wife died Feb. 23, 1995. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Huron.

He is survived by one son, Donald B. of Huron; and one sister, Mrs. Ray (Ione) Brandriet of Mission, Texas. Services begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Welter Funeral Home in Huron, with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon and evening at the funeral home, and before services Monday.
