April 23, 1897 --- November 14, 1970

J. Jennings Smith, 73, of 520 NW 9, died Saturday in St. Anthony Hospital following a brief illness. Services are pending with Guardian Midtown Funeral Home. Smith was born in Eagle Grove. Iowa, moved to Tulsa in 1956 and came to Oklahoma City from Texas in 1961. He was a former insurance agency owner, a retired insurance salesman and was Parkwood Apartments manager. He was a Methodist and he had attended State University of Minnesota. Survivors include his wife. Vallee and a sister, Mrs. Paul Sestrom, Mesa, Ariz.
