April 21, 1911 --- October 30, 1989

Jacob A. MacBeth, 78, of 4104 11th St., East Moline, died Monday at Franciscan Medical Center, Rock Island. Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wendt Funeral Home, Moline, followed by graveside services conducted by Eureka Lodge AF & AM. in Memorial Cemetery, Rock Island. There is no visitation.

Mr. MacBeth was born April 21, 1911, in Galt, Iowa. He was employed 28 years at J I Case Co., Rock Island, retiring in 1970. He was a member of Eureka Lodge 69, AF & AM, Milan, and Scottish Right Bodies Valley of Moline. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Survivors include a daughter, Regina Nelson, East Moline; a son, Jerry, Bettendorf; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
