Myrtle "Myrt" Hawkins, 84, Grants Pass, Ore., formerly of Rock Island and Moline, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at United Presbyterian Church, Goldfield, Iowa. Willim Funeral Home, Eagle Grove, Iowa, is handling arrangements.

Surviving are children, Gene VanDusseldorp, Grants Pass, Alan Benson, Longmont, Colo., Dennis Benson, Denver, and Hollie Myers, New Windsor; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Ransom Allen, Clarion, Iowa, Esther Johnson, Fort Dodge, Iowa, Florence Staelens, Port Byron, and Leo, Manson and Merle Allen, Eagle Grove.

MYRTLE "Myrt" HAWKINS
Myrtle Allen was born on November 29, 1915 at Clarion, Iowa to Ira and Hazel Marie (Mcollough) Allen. She attended country school near Clarion and then attended high school at Clarion. She lived in Rock Island and Moline, Ill. later moving to Denver Colo. She worked at wallpapering and painting for many years. She enjoyed travelling throughout the country by car.

Myrtle "Myrt" Hawkins, 85, of Grants Pass, Ore., formerly of Goldfield, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000 in Grants Pass. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters: Evelyn Soren and Leona Barnes, and a brother Ray Allen. She is survived by her four children. Gene VanDusseldorp of Grants Pass, Ore.; Alan Benson and wife Patricia of Longmont, Colo ; Dennis Benson of Denver, Colo.; and Hollie Myers and husband Terry of New Windsor, Ill., 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; seven great-greatgrandchildren, six brothers and sisters- Ransom Allen and wife Evelyn of Clarion, Iowa; Esther Johnson of Fort Dodge, Iowa; Florence Staelens of Port Byron, Ill.; Leo Mac Allen, Manson Allen, and Merle Allen and wife Roberta, all of Eagle Grove.

Services for Myrtle Hawkins, 85, of Grants Pass, Oreg. were held Saturday, Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Goldfield, Iowa, with the Rev. Ellen Brantley officiating. Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
