On arriving at Eagle Grove he rented the Geo Derscheid farm west of town where he lived till this spring, when he rented a farm six miles east of town, also owned by the Derscheid brothers. On Wednesday while he was working in the field he was found unconscious on the harrow, which the horses were dragging aimlessly about the field. Mr. Derscheid, who noticed the horses running without a driver, caught them and took Mr. Yenck to the house where he recovered consciousness. There were hopes of his recovery till Friday evening when he became suddenly worse and died Saturday, May 16, 1925, at the age of 48 years and 2 days of age.

In former years Mr. Yenck was a member of the Catholic church.

He leaves to mourn their loss his wife and the three children already mentioned and two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Curtis of Wessington Springs, S. D. and Mrs. C. Dunkle [Dunkel] of Eagle Grove.
