Mrs. Esta Yenck funeral Monday

The funeral services for Mrs. Esta Yenck, 87, were held Monday morning at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Donald Forbes was in charge of the rites.

Mrs. Yenck died Saturday at the Henry Custodial Home where she had been a patient for almost a year.

She is survived by one son, James of Eagle Grove, and two daughters, Mrs. Fred Crovisier of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Helen Beckel of Clarinda.

Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one brother, William Cochran, and two sisters, Mrs. Earl Brown and Mrs. Jim Coleman all of Maryville, Tenn.

Mrs. Yenck was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Y. Cochran and was born Oct. 4 (14), 1883 In Maryville, Tenn.

She was married to Nicholus [Nicholas] Yenck in 1911 at Shelbyville, Ill. and they moved to Iowa in 1915. Mr. Yenck died in 1925, and Mrs. Yenck moved from the farm East of Eagle Grove to town.
