5 August 1867 --- 14 February 1929

Michael Dominick Donovan was born at Rimsen, Wis., August 5, 1866. He came to Eagle Grove in 1903. He was united in marriage with Miss Margaret LuVerne McManaman August 14, 1908. To this union five children were born, all of whom survive. They are Joseph Edwin, Katherine Lucile, Louis James, Michael John, Madonna Ileen. Besides the five children and his devoted wife, Mr. Donovan is survived by three sisters, Ellen Donovan and Mrs. Alice Myles of Los Angeles, Miss Mary Donovan of Eagle Grove, and two brothers, Bernard Donovan of Anaconda, Mont., and Louis Patrick of Shelby, Mont.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at Sacred Heart church and burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Mr. Donovan made many friends during his residence in Wright county. He was an honest, conscientious friend and neighbor and his acquaintances extended the bereaved relatives their sincerest sympathy in the hour of their great sorrow.
