EAGLE GROVE EAGLE -- Eagle Grove, Iowa
September 27, 1917

***
Mrs. Lee Perrin of Eagle Grove died recently of a broken heart because her husband was sent to the penitentiary several years ago for defaulting funds of the bank in which he was employed. Perrin was allowed to go from the prison to Eagle Grove and return to the penitentiary without escort. A son was born to his wife shortly after Perrin was sent to prison and his trip there afforded him the first chance of seeing the child.
