Francis Lynch, 75, passed away Saturday, March 31, 1979, at Rochester, Minn, after an illness of several months. Services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 1979, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove. The Kastler - Babcock - DeYoung Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Lynch is survived by his wife, Irene, his two sons, Jerome of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Rick of St. Libory, Neb. and one grandson, Jeffrey. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Leo and one sister, Marie. Francis was born on a farm northwest of Eagle Grove on July 2, 1903, to Frank and Hanora Moroney [Maroney] Lynch. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School.in Eagle Grove and farmed most of his life. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a life-long resident of Wright County. Rosary services were held Tuesday, April 3, at 8:00 p.m. at the Kastler - Babcock - DeYoung Funeral Home.
