Marcus G. Boe was born May 14, 1908 in Finley, N.D., the son of the Reverend V.E. and Maria Boe. He married Ethel Grimson on June 20, 1934. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn, and Master of Arts Degree from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa. He taught music at Lake Mills and Eagle Grove Schools in Iowa, and at Iowa Central Community College, Fort Dodge and Eagle Grove.

Marcus G. Boe died August 7, 1994 in Mesa, Ariz. He is survived by his wife, Ethel; daughter and son-in-law, E. Marcia and John Hougen; a sister, Esther Boe; and grandchildren Melissa Dobbs and Marcus Byron Hougen. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Victor and Egbert; and sisters, Gertrude and Alphid.

Services for Marcus G. Boe were held August 9, 1994 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Mesa, Ariz. Pastors George Larson and David Wold officiated. Inurnment was at Mountainview Memorial Gardens, Mesa, Ariz.

Marcus G. Boe, 86, of Apache Junction, a teacher, died Aug. 7, 1994. He was born in Finley, N.D., and was a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Ethel; daughter, E. Marcia; sister, Esther; and two grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Our Savior Lutheran Church, 10 N. Apache Road, Apache Junction. Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
