Mary L. Bethel Orcutt
27 May 1848 --- 17 September 1947

Eagle Grove's oldest citizen, Mrs. Mary Orcutt, died at her home on South Lucas Ave., Wednesday morning about 11:30. On May 27 Mrs. Orcutt celebrated her 99th birthday at which time she was able to be up and around and greeted two groups of relatives and friends at parties which her granddaughter, Mrs. George Jacobson, gave in her honor. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Sunday afternoon at the Kastler Funeral Home. Rev. Clarence W. Tompkins will be in charge.
