RAYMOND HANSCH

Raymond Hansch was born March 30, 1925, the son of Gus and Frieda Hansch in Colfax Township and attended rural schools.

He married Patricia Pitsor on January 13, 1945, in Des Moines. They farmed in the Vincent area, and he worked as a carpenter.

Hansch was a member of South Enes Lutheran Church and was inducted into the Fort Dodge Softball Hall of Fame in 1976.

Raymond Hansch, 65, rural Eagle Grove, died Thursday, January 3, 1991, at his home from complications of diabetes.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; daughters, Suzan Mitchell of Torrance, Calif., Sandy Mickelson, Kimberly, Wis.; Cindy Kaufman, Mallard, and Barbara Boosinger, Springfield, Ill., six granddaughters and three grandsons; and brothers, Robert, Duncombe; and Donald, Fort Dodge.

Services were held Monday, January 7, at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Vincent, with the Rev. Robert Foster, pastor of South Enes Lutheran Church, Vincent, officiating. Burial was in the Newark Township Cemetery.
