Mrs. Fred Vaksdal Rites Wednesday

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Fred Vaksdal, 67, in the Evangelical Lutheran church. Rev. Kenneth Torvik officiated and burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Casket bearers were Russell Knutzon, Alvin E. Lonning, Bert L. Kleppe, Ludwick Peterson, John Carlson and Arthur Anderson.

Mrs. Vaksdal is survived by her husband, one son Frank of Springdale, Ark., and three brothers.

Mrs. Vaksdal died suddenly Friday afternoon in New York, where she was boarding a ship with her husband, for a trip to her old home in Bergan, Norway.

Fred Vaksdal accompanied his son Franklin Vaksdal and family when they returned to their home in Springdale, Ark. Mr. Vaksdal plans to leave there in about three weeks, to take the trip to Bergan, Norway. Mr. and Mrs. Vaksdal were boarding a ship in New York, on June 12th, when Mrs. Vaksdal suddenly died. He will be away for about three months.
