5 August 1896 ---- 11 March 1953

Services for William M. Clausen, 54, of 2624 Denniston drive, will be Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Hahn Memorial chapel. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery. Clausen died Wednesday night in his home following a heart attack. Born in Goldfield, Iowa, Clausen moved here from New Mexico about five years ago. He was an auditor for the Overhead Door Company. During World War I, Clausen served as a lieutenant in the infantry. He was a member of the Lutheran church and the Masonic lodge. He is survived by his wife, Edyth, of the home; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Jean Deardorff of San Diego, Calif.; a stepson Louis Barnett, Jr., Anchorage, four sisters. Mrs. E. C. Garmes, Aurora, Ill.; Mrs. Bill Ford. Houston, Texas: Mrs. G. M. Boysen, Waterloo, Iowa, and Mrs. Hattie Warner, Goldfield, Iowa and a brother, Fritz Clausen, also of Goldfield.
