Robert L. Samuels, 75, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., formerly of Goldfield, died on April 4, 2006, following a lengthy hospital stay. A private memorial service was held at the Sun Lakes Methodist Church on May 20, 2006. He was interned at the Gardens at the Church. He is survived by his wife Bette, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., a brother, Duane, a sister, Marjorie, four children David, Jann, Gern? and Mark, and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name at the Boy Scouts of America Mid-Iowa Council.
