December 9, 1940 ---- March 19, 2019

Rita Siemens of Silver Star, Montana, surrounded by loving family and friends, peacefully left this earth to be with the Lord on March 19, 2019. Rita was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa to Ralph and Maye Stafford on December 9th, 1940. She graduated from high school in 1959 and attended Eagle Grove Jr. College. While in college, she met the love of her life, Roger Siemens, and they were married in 1960. She was co-owner of the Country Peddlers Gift Shop in Silver Star. Rita loved music, sports, outdoor activities, her pets and church activities. Rita is survived by her husband, Roger of Silver Star; sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Mary Ellen Siemens of Prospect Heights, Illinois, Randy Siemens of Kalispell, and Ryan and Molly Siemens of Sartell, Minnesota; and five grandchildren, Caleb, Caitlyn, Brian, Lia and Adam. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made on behalf of Rita to the Tobacco Root Mountain Care Center, (TRMCC), P.O. Box 308, Sheridan, MT, 59749. A memorial and celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
