Roger Lacy Hurst, 64, passed away in Los Angeles, California on March 13, 2019. Roger was born August 24th, 1954 in Belmond, Iowa. His family moved to California when he was a boy. He lived in Glendale and his church, First Baptist Church of Glendale was a big part of his life where he had many wonderful and caring friends who treated him like family. Roger enjoyed Hollywood, the movies, especially old ones and TV show marathons and was an Elvira fan. Roger was a kind and caring sole [soul]. He loved his family and never missed remembering them on a birthday or holiday.

Dear brother of the late Rick Hurst (Nina) and the late Phela Sue Hurst. Uncle of Aaron (Stacy), Sara Hurst and the late Eamon Hurst. Internment will take place next to his late brother and nephew at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
