CHRIS STUELAND DIED MONDAY

At an early hour Monday morning Chris Stueland, aged 44 years, died at the home of his father, Jens Stueland, about five miles west of this city. He was unmarried and one of six sons. There are also five sisters who survive. Funeral arrangements were not all complete at the hour of going to press, but Rev. Spande will have charge of the service some time Thursday, and burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Obituary will be published next week.

[According to Christ Stueland's Death Certificate, his death occurred at 4:30 pm on March 19, 1922 at the Cherokee State Hospital in Cherokee, Iowa from exhaustion. He had entered the hospital on March 11, 1922. He was born near Bergen, Norway on June 27, 1878. The place of death in Cherokee County was also confirmed by his Humboldt County Iowa Probate file.]
