Funeral Tuesday For Mrs. Ethel Bradford

Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Bradford, 80, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Kastler Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Lyle Lieder. Internment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Bradford died Saturday evening at the Griffin Nursing Home where she had been a patient since last Thursday. She had been ill for about two weeks and previously lived on North Iowa Ave. near her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thorn.

She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Thorn, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one sister Mrs. John Leo Rice of Mason City and one brother Lloyd Updike of Wisconsin.

Mrs. Bradford was the former Ethel Updike and was born in Waterloo. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter. Mrs. Bradford had made her home in Eagle Grove for about 15 years.
