Mrs. Florence Igou Last Rites Tuesday

Mrs. Florence Igou died Sunday morning at the Askvig-Crickmore Nursing home where she had been a patient for several years.

Mrs. Igou is survived by one sister, Mrs. Greenwood of Stanhope.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Kastler Funeral home and Rev. Lloyd W. Myer officiated.

Pallbearers were O. G. Phillips, C. N. Haden, M. L. Mead, Carl Faust, Henry Schroeder and John Dinnie.

Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Florence Zerelda Tatham, daughter of Palmer and Amelia Bonner Tatham was born May 8, 1883 on a farm near Ellsworth, Iowa, where she grew to womanhood and received her education in Lakins Grove community. She moved with her parents and sister to Webster City in 1904.

On October 17, 1905 she was married to William O. Igou. To this union was born one son, Robert. When Mr. Igou was employed by the Des Moines Southern Railroad they resided in Fort Dodge, Boone and Des Moines. After being employed by the Chicago Northwestern Railroad, they moved to Eagle Grove, where she has since resided. She was a member of the Church of the Open Bible in Eagle Grove where she faithfully attended until her illness.

She is survived by one sister Grace, (Mrs. Ray D. Greenwood) of Webster City and several cousins.

Mrs. Igou was preceded in death by her husband and son, Robert; her parents and a half sister and brother.

Mrs. Igou had been in falling health for the past three years and passed away at 7:30 Sunday morning, May 1, 1955. She would have been 73 last Sunday.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 4, 1955 at the Kastler funeral home. Rev. Lloyd W. Meyer, pastor of the Church of the Open Bible officiated. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
