Former Resident Dies Friday
Funeral services for Earl Capsel, 66, Webster City, formerly of Clarion and Eagle Grove, will be
conducted Friday at 1:30 p. m. at the Foster Funeral Home, Webster City. The Rev. George Edd,
pastor of the Baptist church, will officiate, and burial will be in Cass Center Cemetery, north of Webster City. Mr. Capsel died Monday evening enroute to Hamilton hospital. He had not been well since February. Born near Woolstock Mr. Capsel farmed near Clarion some time, later lived in Eagle Grove for 17 years and then moved to Webster City in 1954. In 1922, he married Ethel Loux, who died in 1954. Surviving are 10 children, Mrs. Bronton White of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Ray Allen, Mrs. Roger Griffith, Judy and Charles Capsel, all of Webster City, Mrs. Duane Willard of Thor, Mrs. Maurice Turner of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Jim Jans of Kamrar, Mrs. Frank Lum of Lompoc, Calif., and Sgt. Milo Capsel, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. There are 16 grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and one sister, Ora Capsel and Mrs. Gen Frazier, both of Webster City.
