October 21, 1886 --- August 18, 1952

Mrs. Henry Noffke, 65, died at 7:10 Monday evening at the Hamilton county hospital following a stroke. She had been ill only a short time. Prayer services will be held at 2 Thursday at the Foster funeral home with services following at 2:30 at the St. Paul Lutheran church. The Rev. H. H. Schauland will officiate with burial at Graceland cemetery.

Mary Sinclair, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sinclair, was born Oct. 21, 1886, at Woolstock, Iowa. She was educated there and grew to young womanhood in that community. She was united in marriage Dec. 14, 1915 to Henry Noffke of Sigel, Ill., at Webster City. In 1917 they started farming in this area and continued until 1946 when they moved into Webster City. With the exception of a few years they had always lived in Hamilton and Wright counties.

She is survived by her husband and four children; Clarence of Webster City, Robert of Blue Earth, Minn.; Mrs. Ray (Leonora) Miller and Mrs. Byron (Helen) Huse, both of Webster City, two sisters, Sarah and Jane Sinclair, both of Woolstock, and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and her parents.

She was an active member of the St. Paul Lutheran church in Webster City and her main interests were her family and her church. Mrs. Noffke was known as an energetic and industrious worker in everything she attempted and she imbued her family with the same spirit of industry and helpfulness.
