December 17, 1934 ---- December 15, 2018

Linda Krueger, 83, Minot, North Dakota, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018, at her home, surrounded by those that love her.

Linda was born on December 17, 1934 in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She came to North Dakota in 1943 at the age of 6, and was adopted by Stanley and Helen (Koening) Kalabza of Max, ND. Linda attended Roosevelt grade school in Newman Township, and graduated from Minot High School in 1953. She recently attended her 65th high school reunion.

On March 21, 1954, she married Gordon Krueger at Hope Lutheran Church in rural Sawyer, ND. Together they rented a farm by Sawyer, then moved to the Mulick farm by the Radar Base, south of Minot. In the fall of 1958, they moved to the Krueger family farm, NE of Max. Linda and Gordon celebrated milestone anniversaries, and were side by side for 64 years.

Linda taught Sunday school for years at Hope Lutheran and was a member of the ELWC. In her Max community, she belonged to the Sunnyslope Homemakers and was a leader at Rocky Acres 4-H Club. In 1995, they moved from the family farm to Minot, ND. There, Linda spent many years volunteering at Trinity Hospital, and participating in many activities at Christ Lutheran Church. Making Klub and serving it at the Hostfest was an annual event for Gordon and Linda. Linda was also co-chairperson of the funeral serving group at the church. She loved the Choir.

The greatest joy in Linda’s life was her family. She had six children: Jeff Krueger, Dennis Krueger, Curtis Krueger, Calvin Krueger, Lori Leier and Diane Bryantt. Calvin was lost to them in an accident in 1991. Linda was a very important part of each of her 18 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren’s lives. Linda is survived by her husband, Gordon; her children, Jeff (Lisa) Krueger, Dennis (Cindy) Krueger, Curtis (Nancy) Krueger, Lori (Tom) Leier, Diane (Greg) Bryantt and her daughter-in-law, Rose Klein, grandchildren, Alexis (Ryan) Antilla, Caitlyin (Nick) Krueger, Erica (Carter) Krueger, Matthew Krueger, Justin (Germain) Krueger, Brent (Alonna) Krueger, Sara (Paul) Lee, Jessica (Jessi) Reiter, Danielle (Bobby) Krueger, Cole (Lacey) Krueger, Ethan Krueger, Calvin Krueger, Hope Krueger, TJ Leier, Chris (Jenna) Leier, Kelly (Jarad) Janz, Tanner (Jerrica) Bryantt and Loni Bryantt; in-laws, Gene and Angie Krueger, Connie Claxton, Marvin & Nadine Krueger and Charles Freed; and many nieces, nephews, and her best friend, Mavis Zahursky.
