In 1992, they sold their home in Kenyon and became full-time RVers, spending the winters in Arizona and returning to Kenyon in the spring to spend the summer months with their family and friends. She was a member of the VFW, Moose and Eagles lodges, American Legion Auxiliary and United Methodist Church in Kenyon. She enjoyed cooking and making quilts.

Two brothers preceded her in death.

There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church here, with the Rev. David Brown III officiating. Hanson Funeral Home in Kenyon is in charge of arrangements.
