24 January 1895 --- 29 June 1971

Mrs. Celia Wigans, who lived in the Sisson Nursing Home at Humboldt, died Tuesday night and funeral services were held in the United Methodist Church at Renwick July 2, and burial was in Vernon Cemetery. Her two daughters and families came for the funeral, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Metzinger, Sally, Wanda, Susan and Joan of Pierre, S.D., and Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Bohannon of Holton, Kan. Mr. and Mrs. Metzinger, Susan and Joan, and Mr. and Mrs. Bohannon stayed at the Gail Wigans home. They returned to their respective homes Sunday.
