Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 o'clock from the Morgan Methodist Church near Dows. Rev. Thomas Stewart officiated. Burial was in the Morgan cemetery with the Van Hove Funeral Home in charge.

Lydia Wesenberg, 88 of Dows died at the Oakdale Hospital in Oakdale, Iowa Wednesday, October 19, 1966.

She was born July 9, 1878 at Dows, the daughter of Hiram and Mary Rankin.

She was married to Frank Wesenberg who preceded her in death in 1947.

She is survived by one foster daughter, LaVoy (Mrs. A.W.) Forham of Marshalltown; one brother, Henry Rankin of Dows and three sisters: Anna Miller and Louise Hackbarth both of Dows and Mayme Stauffer of Phoenix, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two sisters.
