MARJORIE DIBBEN, 74

Funeral services for Marjorie Dibben, 74, of Blair, were Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment was in Blair Cemetery. Mrs. Dibben died Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Marjorie Dibben was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Kanawha, Iowa, to Lewis and Vera (Rust) Tesdahl. She graduated from Renwick (Iowa) High School, attended Iowa State teachers College and graduated from Dana College with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She taught school in Garner and Emmetsburg, Iowa, in Herman, and was director and teacher of Blair Preschool.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell “Dib” of Blair; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Jack Andersen of Elkhorn; Shelli and Tim Mosser of Ralston; sons and daughters-in-law, Dave and Jann Dibben of Omaha; Dan and Merri Dibben of Blair; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Maylene and William Schreur of Kanawha; and brother, Don Tesdahl of Rome, Italy; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Meyerholz; parents; and one grandchild, Amy Northwall. Memorials are suggested to Dana College or First Lutheran Church. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
