Audella J. Austroot [Ostroot], 78, formerly of Minot, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1988, in the Mayville hospital. Services will be at 10:30 Saturday in First Lutheran Church, Minot, Arrangements are with Thomas Funeral Home, Minot.

Audella Johnson was born Sept. 5, 1909, in Spokane, Wash., where she grew up and attended college. She married The Rev. Edwin Ostroot in 1937 in Clarion, Iowa. They lived in Idaho and Massachusetts before moving in 1954 to Minot, where he was chaplain of Trinity Medical Center until he died in 1961. She retired in 1974 from Trinity Nursing Home as an administrative assistant and had moved recently to the Mayville nursing home. Survivors are her daughter, Ann Gremmels; Portland, N.D.; son, Mark, Ankeny Iowa, and seven grandchildren.
