Eleanor lived in 7 different states and many different houses. She was a lay minister for prisons and visited some of the most notorious prisons and prisoners-in the country, 60 different prisons in all, including Attica in New York; Huntsville, Texas; and Alaskan prisons. She has helped many people the world over receive Jesus as their personal savior, continuing to be in touch with them and encouraging them in the Lord. Her life was filled with the Jesus kind of love and giving. No matter what the circumstances, she managed to confront them in the Joy of the Lord. Three days before she passed on to Heaven, she finished and sent out 2 last letters of encouragement to prisoners. She was always busy in the Lord's work, writing letters, cooking meals, or crocheting lap robes and making baby blankets. Always giving and encouraging everyone she spoke to.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Fellowship, 1960 Ken Pratt Blvd., Suite D, Longmont, CO, on Saturday, March 6, 2010, 11 a.m.
