18 September 1941 ---- 14 July 1977

Bonnie Lou Streeter, the daughter of Wayne and Hazel Hersbergen Streeter, was born September 18, 1941, at Corwith, Iowa. She graduated from the Woden High School. Following her graduation from Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls in 1963 she moved to Eagle Grove where she taught elementary school in the public school system. On June 26, 1966 she married Jerry St. John at the United Methodist Church in Britt. To this union one son, Casey, was born on December 17, 1970.

She died Thursday, July 14, at University Hospital in Iowa City following a lengthy illness, at the age of 35 years, 9 months and 26 days.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; one son, Casey, at home; her parents, Wayne and Hazel Streeter, Britt; two brothers: Dwayne Streeter, Waterloo; Dwight Streeter, Britt; two sisters: Miss Joyce Streeter, Britt; Mrs. Randy Pelman, Des Moines. She was preceded in death by an infant brother.

She was a member of the Iowa State Education Association - National Education Association.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 18, at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Eagle Grove. Rev. Donald Callen officiated and interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
