Abby Elliott Comstock
1 May 1858 ----- 15 December 1920

Abby Elliott was born May 1, 1858 in Wisconsin. At the age of ten years she moved with her parents to Webster county, Iowa, where on Nov. 7th, 1877 she was married to A. R. Comstock. They moved to the farm in Fairmount, Minn., where they lived for twenty-five years. They then moved to Webster City, then to Eagle Grove where they have lived for the past five years. She passed from this life in Eagle Grove December 15th, 1920 at the age of 62 years, 7 months and 14 days. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, and family of seven children who are, Sylvester of Webster City, David of Roundup, Mont., Edward, Herman and Cloyd of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Jennie Stephenson of Mason City, and Blanche, of Eagle Grove; also her brothers, William Elliott, of Oklahoma, and Sam Elliott of Dayton, Iowa, and her sisters, Mrs. Olive Jane Woolsey and Mrs. M. B. Schweppe, who live east of Homer, and Mrs. E. E. Herrick of Lake Park, Iowa; also six grandchildren. Mrs. Comstock has lived a faithful Christian life for years. She was a member of the Christian church of Lehigh, Iowa.
